PROGRAM  BRIDGE & SEED GRANTS  COLLEGE OF MEDICINE HONORS  SURE PROGRAM  OSSM PROGRAM   Bridge, Seed and Equipment Grants Program The primary objective of bridge grants is to provide funding of limited duration to enhance faculty competitiveness for national extramural funding. The seed grant program provides start-up funding for young investigators or for investigators launching into a new research direction. The equipment grants program provides the funding for laboratory equipment needed to advance research. In 2003, PHF bridge, seed and equipment grants enabled OUHSC scientists to successfully compete for a record $41 million in National Institutes of Health support, an increase of $10 million over last year.
