Amanda Vermillion Appointed CFO of Presbyterian Health Foundation

Amanda Vermillion joined the Presbyterian Health Foundation as its Chief Financial Officer in April 2024.

Vermillion brings a wealth of experience from her previous roles, including Partner at Reign Capital Holdings, Vice President of Strategic Planning and Vice President of Accounting at Templar Energy, and Audit Manager at Grant Thornton. Her professional background encompasses overseeing accounting, human resources and information technology departments, monitoring and evaluating investments, producing financial statements, managing banking, audit, tax, and financing relationships, and participating in strategic planning teams.


During her time at Grant Thornton, Vermillion served clients across various industries, including upstream and midstream oil and gas, manufacturing, governmental, non-profits, and others. Her responsibilities included managing initial public offerings, quarterly and annual public filings, and integrated audits of financial statements and internal controls.


Vermillion earned a B.S. in Accounting from Northwestern Oklahoma State University. She is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Oklahoma Society of Certified Public Accountants. A lifelong resident of Oklahoma, Vermillion has volunteered and served on the boards of several local non-profit organizations. She is also the proud mom of one daughter, Emily.


Expressing her enthusiasm for her new role, Vermillion stated, “I’m honored for the opportunity to join the Presbyterian Health Foundation. I’m thrilled to be a part of its mission, work alongside its amazing staff, and assist its distinguished Board of Directors in the coming months and years. We are in an exciting time of biomedical research and advancement, and it’s amazing to see Oklahoma City’s commitment to growth in this important sector.
